Use Pythagorean Theorem which states that in a right triangle:

 [tex]a^2+b^2=c^2[/tex], where a and b are the legs, and c is the hypotenuse.

[tex]24^2+10^2=x^2[/tex]

Take the square root of both sides to solve for x.

[tex]x = \sqrt{676} = 26 [/tex]

The answer  is 26.
