Inductive reasoning is the kind of reasoning that is reached when a person draws a general conclusion from a known set of circumstances. Another type of reasoning is called deductive reasoning. With deductive reasoning, a person takes a set of circumstances that are known or proven to be true, and comes to a specific conclusion instead of a general conclusion.
