To increase an amount by 7%, what single multiplier would you use?

Increasing it by 7% means ending up with 100%+7% of this amount right?
So it means ending up with 107% of this amount
Which equals multiplying it by 107 and dividing by 100
107/100=1.07
So you can multiply the amount by 1.07 directly
