Oxygen = O2

When these two (2) chemical elements react together, they form two chemical compound which are nitrogen oxide and water.

NH3 + O2 -----> NO + H2O

We would balance the chemical equation like this;

NH3 + 3O2 -----> 4NO + 2H2O
