10=z/2+7
Subtracat 7 from both sides
3=z/2
Multiply 2 on both sides
Final Answer: 6 = z

remember that you can do anyting to an equation as long as you do it to both sides

so
10=z/2+7
minus from both sides
10-7=z/2+7-7
3=z/2+0
3=z/2
times both sides by 2/1
6/1=2z/2
6=1z
6=z
