Answer: Rikshaw bought it for 100. He lost 12% on selling it, so that means he must have sold it for 88. He wants to make 12% profit, so that means he should have sold it at 112.

But we know that he sold it for 2640.

Therefore, if 88 = 2640, 112 would be 2640*112/88 = 3360.
