s=[tex] \pi rl+ \pi r^{2} [/tex]
Making l the subject of the formula;
s-[tex] \pi r^{2} = \pi rl[/tex]
Dividing each side by [tex] \pi r[/tex]
[tex] \frac{s- \pi r^{2} }{ \pi r} =l[/tex]
L=[tex] \frac{s- \pi r^{2} }{ \pi r} [/tex]
