Let f(x)= 2x+3 and g(x)= 1/2x -3/2. Evaluate (fog)(-3)

First solve for g(x) by replacing x with -3:

g(x) = 1/2(-3) -3/2

g(x) = -3/2 - 3/2

g(x) = -3

Now solve for f(x) by replacing x with -3:

f(x) = 2(-3) + 3

f(x) = -6 +3

f(x) = -3

The answer is -3
