on pg 125 and 126 of lord of the flies what is the conflict between jack and ralph

the conflict between them is their mentality, jack is going off of survival of the fittest so he is hunting and killing for the joy and survival. While Ralph still has hope that they will be saved and he is being more concerned of sending signals then trying to survive.
