Difference of squares

x^2 -a^2 = (x-a) (x+a)

x^-4 =x-2^2  = (x-2)(x+2)

a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)  so we have a = x and b = 2:-

x^2 - 4 =  (x + 2)(x - 2) (answer)
