yes it is, -4x+9=13, subtract 9 from both sides, -4x=4, divide by negative 4 from both sides, x= -1. Hope I helped!

-4x + 9 =  13

-4x =  4

 x = -1

Answer is Yes

x = - 1 is  a solution
