Two consecutive numbers total 25. Find the numbers.

First number  is x.
Second number is (x+1).
Their sum is (x+x+1)=(2x+1)

2x+1=25
2x=25-1
2x=24
x=12
x+1=13

Numbers are 12 and 13.
