It's the Geometric Sequence.

The n-th term of a geometric sequence with initial value a and common ratio r is given by:

[tex]a_n=a_1\cdot r^{n-1}\ for\ n\in\mathbb{N^+}[/tex]

We have:

[tex]a_1=-2;\ r=3;\ n=6[/tex]

Substitute:

[tex]a_6=-2\cdot3^{6-1}=-2\cdot3^5=-2\cdot243=-486[/tex]

Answer: The sixth term is equal -486.
