Answer:

-12

Explanation:

C - A × B - 5

A = 3

B = 4

C = 5

Substitute.

5 - 3 × 4 - 5

Solve in order of operation.

5 - 3 × 4 - 5

5 - 12 - 5

-7 - 5

= -12

Note, there is another solution if the above answer is incorrect. I did not use the order of operations, instead I solved from left to right.

5 - 3 × 4 - 5

2 × 4 - 5

8 - 5

= 3
