The answer is 0.28.

You just divide 1.12 by 12 (1 dozen = 12) and multiply the answer by 3.

To find the price per egg divide 1.12 by 12 = 9.3333 cents per egg. Then to find the price of three eggs multiply 9.3 by 3 to get 28. Your answer would be C) .28
